Kya

At 15 years old, Kya is a beautiful Siberian Husky with a soft silver and black coat and piercing ice-blue eyes, the first Husky in our family. Her calm and gentle demeanor reflects the wisdom of her years, but she hasn’t lost the playful spark that has defined her for so long.

Kya is incredibly affectionate and thrives on companionship, following anyone in the family throughout the house and always making her presence known with her signature Husky "talking." Closed doors are no match for her persistence—her barks and whines are her way of reminding us she’s never far behind.

Kya’s favorite activities include napping and indulging in her well-deserved treats, but she has always loved squeaky toys and anything soft and fluffy. These days, she enjoys the simpler pleasures of life, like cozying up with her family and relishing the warmth of being surrounded by love. She is, without a doubt, as much a member of our family as any human, sharing an unbreakable bond with all of us.

Though age has brought a calmer temperament, Kya’s expressive nature and vocal demands for attention, snacks, and walks keep our home lively. Her enduring loyalty and affection have left an indelible mark on our hearts, and her presence is a constant source of comfort and joy.
