Kya

Kya was our first Husky and lived almost 16 years. She had a soft silver and black coat, bright blue eyes, and a calm, steady personality. Even as she got older she kept the playful spark she had when she was young.

She loved being close to her family and followed us from room to room. She “talked” the way Huskies do whenever she wanted attention or snacks. If a door was closed she made sure we knew she was waiting on the other side.

Kya always enjoyed soft toys, squeaky toys, naps, and treats she was convinced she deserved. In her later years she found the most comfort simply resting with us and being surrounded by people who loved her.

She brought so much warmth to our home. Kya was part of our family, and her loyalty and affection stay with us. We are grateful for the years we had with her and we will carry her memory for the rest of our lives.
